Section 1
Abbreviation, extension and commencement
  (1) This Act may be called the “Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059”.
(2) This Act shall be applicable throughout Nepal and shall be applicable to Nepali citizens residing anywhere outside Nepal, national servants and non-Nepali citizens residing abroad who have done any act considered to be corrupt under this Act.
(3) This Act shall come into force immediately.
